Rules & Policies

This list is by no means exhaustive, but will govern the World’s Fascinating Miss pageant. Should you have any concerns or questions, please address them respectfully with the pageant staff. Should they be unable to immediately answer your questions, they will further investigate and give an answer as soon as possible. Be aware that some questions may not be answerable during the show(s), so be patient with the staff. They are there to make sure that the pageant runs smoothly and to assist you.

  1. Treat each other with respect and kindness.  We expect the best behavior from our delegates, their chaperones and their guests before, during, and after competition. This means exhibiting good sportsmanship and good manners regardless of the pageant results! You never know who is watching. Those who exhibit poor sportsmanship during competition (including behavior on stage during the finale) will be disqualified from competition and no fees will be refunded. Those who exhibit poor sportsmanship after competition will be permanently barred from competing in any of our affiliated events in the future.
  2. We expect our delegates and their family members to treat each other, other delegates/their families and hotel/restaurant/pageant staff with respect and use common courtesy. This includes in the dressing room as well as back stage. Manners will take you places that money never will.
  3. Punctuality – #OnTimeIs15MinutesEarly. Delegates who are not punctual in returning forms and making payments and/or being in the on-deck area/rehearsal(s) in a prompt and punctual manner will have points deducted. This can mean the difference between earning a title or going home empty-handed. Be aware that the pageant will proceed on schedule without you if you are late. Be sure to discuss time constraints with your hair/makeup artist(s) should you choose to use those services. Their lateness can affect your scores.
  4. All attire, hair, and makeup should be age appropriate. Judges will have the discretion to deduct points if they feel a delegate is not age appropriate.
  5. Absolutely NO MALES at any time in the dressing room. Any male attempting to enter the dressing room will be removed from the event and their delegate will be disqualified. *This includes sponsors, vendors and staff.
  6. Delegates may have ONE female chaperone/helper in the dressing room only to assist them. Chaperone/helper must remain outside the backstage area at all times.
  7. No parents/chaperones, hair/makeup artists, or cellphones/electronic devices in the immediate backstage area. There will be a drop-off area and past that point, it is pageant staff and delegates only.
  8. Pageants are ultimately paying for the opportunity to have a panel of individuals judge you and your performance. Their opinions are theirs alone, however, those opinions will be what chooses our titleholders. Judges’ decisions are final and binding and there are absolutely NO refunds in pageantry.
  9. We expect our titleholders to hold themselves to a high standard of behavior during their year of service. In the unlikely event that a titleholder cannot complete their year with exemplary behavior, we will regretfully and immediately crown a successor and the former titleholder must cease use of their title and return all prizes/awards to the pageant office.
  10. In the event that you are crowned as World’s Fascinating Miss, you MUST return to crown your successor at the following year’s event. Should you fail to do so, you will forfeit the remainder of your prize package and cash award (if applicable) will not be paid out.
